It all started back in 1946 with our founder John W. Fobear Sr., he began by building small wooden boats of his own. We are now under 3rd generation leadership, and our main focus is on fishing boats and pontoons. We specialize in big water aluminum boats and tri-toon performance pontoons, although we carry a wide variety of boats to meet any budget. As the years went by, John's three sons, Ron, Fred, and Jack, became integral to the business, introducing larger Rinker boats and Crest pontoon boats. The focus shifted to Sylvan fishing boats, and by 2000, the outboard lineup expanded to include Mercury outboards. Today, under third-generation leadership, Bay Outboard Marine specializes in fishing boats, pontoons, and tri-toon performance pontoons.
