Our Winterization Services
Our comprehensive winterization process covers every system on your boat — giving you complete confidence that your investment is fully protected through the off-season.
Engine Fogging & Flushing
We flush the engine with fresh water to remove salt, debris, and contaminants, then fog the cylinders with protective oil to prevent corrosion and oxidation during storage.
Cooling System Drain & Antifreeze
All water is purged from the cooling system and replaced with marine-grade antifreeze where required. This is the most critical step in preventing freeze damage to your engine block.
Fuel System Stabilization
We add fuel stabilizer and run the engine to distribute it through the entire fuel system — preventing fuel degradation, varnish buildup, and injector or carburetor issues over winter.
Lower Unit Service
We drain and inspect lower unit gear oil, checking for water intrusion which signals a seal failure. Fresh gear oil is installed to protect gears and bearings through the storage period.
Bilge Pump & Drain Plug Check
We ensure all drain plugs are removed and bilge areas are clean and dry before storage — preventing water accumulation that can freeze and cause structural damage.
Lubrication of Moving Parts
All grease fittings, steering cables, throttle and shift cables, and hinges are lubricated to prevent corrosion and seizing during the off-season.
Cover & Storage Prep
We advise on proper cover installation and storage positioning to ensure adequate ventilation, prevent moisture buildup, and protect your boat's exterior through the winter months.
